Made for You, and Made to Last
At Yuan Atelier we don't make standard sizes. Every piece is tailored to the person who will wear it. With each new run we make small improvements to the pattern and finish, so every piece is a little better than the last.
How It Works
- Place your order. Straight after, we email you our measuring guide.
- Send your measurements. Follow our How to Measure guide (about ten minutes, easier with a friend) and send them to us with two photos. If we haven't heard from you, we'll send a gentle reminder after three days.
- We review your fit. We check everything within two working days. If anything looks unusual, we'll arrange a short video call.
- Your piece is made. Once your measurements are confirmed, your piece is cut, sewn and finished in about four weeks.
- Delivery and try-on. We ship with tracking. Try your piece on and tell us how it feels.
- Fine-tuning. If anything needs adjusting, send it back within 30 days and your first alteration is free, including shipping both ways. Alterations usually take one to two weeks, plus shipping.
Timing
Please allow about four weeks from the day your measurements are confirmed, plus delivery. Mainland China, Hong Kong and Macau: usually 1 to 3 days by SF Express. Rest of Asia: usually 3 to 5 working days by express courier. Elsewhere: usually 5 to 8 working days. See our Shipping Policy.
Changing Your Mind
You can cancel for a full refund at any time before your measurements are confirmed and your fabric is cut. Because each piece is made only for you, we can't accept returns for a change of mind after that, but we will always work with you until it fits. See our Returns and Alterations Policy.
A Limited Number of Pieces
Our clothes are made from xiangyunsha (香云纱), a rare naturally dyed silk that is becoming very hard to find. Because supply is so limited, we can only make a small number of each design. When the fabric runs out, that run is complete.
Lifetime Guarantee
Every Yuan Atelier piece comes with a lifetime guarantee. If your body changes, your style changes, or your piece needs care, send it back to us at any time and we will gladly adjust, alter, or repair it. After your first free alteration, we simply ask you to cover shipping.
Because our fabric is rare, we keep an archive of offcuts from every run for future repairs. If the original fabric is ever no longer available, we will use the closest match from our archive or suggest a considered contrast, and we will always agree it with you before any work begins.
The guarantee is for the original owner and covers changes in fit and everyday wear. It does not cover loss.
