Description
A reversible, unisex jacket inspired by the traditional scholar's robe. Wear it black with brown cuffs, or turn it inside out for brown with black cuffs: two jackets in one.
Relaxed through the body, with a mandarin collar and knotted closures. The black side has patch pockets and hand-knotted frog closures, one in contrast brown.
The fabric is xiangyunsha (香云纱), a rare hand-treated silk from Shunde, in Guangdong, naturally dyed by hand and dried in the sun on open grass, again and again. It softens and gains a quiet lustre with age. Discover the craft.
Made to measure. Limited to 99 pieces.

Care
All our pieces are made in xiangyunsha silk. Dry clean, or hand wash alone in cool water with a silk detergent. Do not wring, tumble dry or dry in sunlight. Steam gently from the reverse. Store hanging, away from perfume and mothballs. Its colour will soften gracefully with time. If your piece ever needs care, send it back to us under our lifetime guarantee.
