Description

Two sides that echo each other. Wear it black with hand-knotted frog closures, or turn it inside out for brown with covered knot buttons: two vests in one.

Cut close through the body, with a mandarin collar, front and back darts, and side slits at the hem for ease of movement.

The fabric is xiangyunsha (香云纱), a rare hand-treated silk from Shunde, in Guangdong, naturally dyed by hand and dried in the sun on open grass, again and again. It softens and gains a quiet lustre with age. Discover the craft.

All our pieces are made in xiangyunsha silk. Dry clean, or hand wash alone in cool water with a silk detergent. Do not wring, tumble dry or dry in sunlight. Steam gently from the reverse.
